One of my favorite pastimes is spending hours on hours in beaches. Residents of crowded cities such as New York migrate to beaches to spend some R and R away from the chaos of the city. Sunny destinations are often packed because of their obvious allure. Today, I’ll be sharing some of the best hidden beaches found in the world.
Muir Beach, Marin County, California
This secluded beach requires a short drive from Northern California, but it’s definetly worth it. The descent to this beach is almost as beautiful as the beach itself.

Trancoso, Bahia, Brazil
This beach was originally an obscure village, but was rediscovered by Wilbert Das, who was the former creative director of Diesel. He later opened a chic unknown hotel named Uxua.

Playa Terron, Vilanova De Arousa, Spain
The area in which this beach is located in one of the most incredible, undisturbed areas of European culture. Vilanova de Arousa is located about 50 minutes away from Santiago de Compostela where there’s fresh seafood-serving bungalow restaurants everywhere.

Shela Village, Lamu Archipelago, Kenya
This peaceful beach just outside of Lamu, which dates back to the 14th century, is a historic place to visit. Shela Village is also most known for being the oldest town in Kenya.

Vama Veche Beach, Vame Veche, Romania
Vama Veche, just north of the Bulgarian border is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Black Sea. There are also a many amazing hotels you can stay in if you decide to visit this beautiful beach.
