If you had the choice to live anywhere in the world where would it be? According to a new research report the only practical answer is Vienna, Austria.
Vienna has been deemed the most livable city in the world two years in a row by The Economist Intelligence Unit. What is the reason for this prized position? Things like quality public transportation, low crime, healthcare availability, and great education helped Vienna earn this top spot. Coming in a close second is Melbourne, Austrailia followed by Sydney, Austrailia, and Osaka, Japan.
Back in March, Mercer came to the conclusion that Vienna was the most livable city after considering the same factors. Both Mercer and The Economist Intelligence Unit also mentioned the city’s culture as another reason for its great living conditions. This city also has a diverse art scene that includes the historic Belvedere Museum and the Secession Gallery.
So, if you’re planning to move somewhere, you should definitely consider moving to Vienna, Austria!
