The week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s is the only time in the whole entire year that laziness is not only tolerated but also encouraged. This whole year you’ve been working so hard that you deserve to take a trip somewhere festive and fun and start off the new year well. So here are some of the best places to go to for Christmas.
New York, New York
New York has something about it that makes it seem absolutely magical in the holidays. The entire city is covered in lights, and you can do pretty much everything here including reenacting your favorite Christmas movie. So if you decide to go to New York be sure to visit the Rockefeller Center and the light display at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Seville, Spain
During the winter season, Seville transforms into a citywide light display, giving you so may spots to take Insta-worthy pics. Seville is also known for the overflowing Christmas markets and nativity scenes. If you decide to visit Seville, I suggest stopping in the Feria de Artesanía Creativa, which is a Christmas market dedicated to art made by local artists.

Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo is known for its beautiful “winter illuminations” when the most of the city is covered in lights. The Christmas lights in the Shiodome, which is a 47-story mall, are seriously impressive and will make you feel like you’ve just stepped into a winter wonderland. The shopping distrcits in Tokyo are always decorated with the best Christmas light, so you can watch the beautiful lights while you shop till you drop.
