3 Places to Travel This Fall

I know, I know summer is over and it’s sad, but do you know what’s not sad? The season for overpriced plane tickets are coming to an end. For many people, fall is the best time to travel because it’s much calmer than summer. Even though some people love to travel during fall it’s hard to figure out where to go. Today I’ll be sharing some places you should think of going for fall.

  • Florence, Italy

Florence is a pretty touristy spot during the summer time, but by fall most tourist groups would’ve already subsided, and the baking Italian sun already weakened. You can also check out the museums that Florence has to offer and enjoying some good pasta while you’re at it.

How to Land Looking Totally Refreshed- After a Long-Haul Flight

After a long-haul flight everyone looks disheveled and tired. Today I’ll be sharing some tips to how you can look totally put together after a long-haul flight.

  • Watch What You Eat Before the Flight

Studies are shown that if you consume alcohol and caffeine before a flight it can disrupt your sleep. Before we continue, can we talk about how professional I sounded on my previous sentence. Anyway, if you eat heavy ,fatty, or spicy foods before a flight you can block your body from resting.

  • Have an In-Flight Facial

I have a post about how you can do this, so go check it out. Your skin is very tired and dehydrated during flight, so make sure you give your skin some love during a flight.

  • Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

I’ve already mentioned that your skin can get so dry during a flight. This also applies to your body. According to the Aerospace Medical Association, you should be drinking at least 8 ounces if you’re in the air to avoid dehydration. When you’re on a flight try, to hydrate with warm liquids instead of cold beverages.

In-Flight Beauty Essentials

Planes can be extremely damaging to your skin. I don’t know about you, but I love to unwind and relax on the plane. Today I’ll be sharing some beauty essentials so you can arrive to your destination looking amazing.

  • Face Masks

I LOVE wearing face masks on the plane. Whether it’s a sheet mask or a cream mask, face masks can help you look like you’ve just stepped out of a spa and not a long flight. When the lights on the plane dim I take out my sheet mask and start unwinding. Everyone who walks by my seat thinks I’m crazy, but I don’t care. It’s worth it in the end.

  • Lip Balm

I’m a lip balm fanatic, so even when I’m not on a plane I’ll be reapplying lip balm every 10 minutes. When you’re on a flight your whole body becomes dehydrated, including your lips. Applying lip balm makes sure that you don’t step down off the plane having crusty, dry lips.

  • Face Mist

Whenever I’m on a plane I always bring a travel size face mist. Face Mists are very hydrating and refreshing, which is important. Sometimes when I bring a face mist that smells good I start spraying my facial mist all over the place.

These are some of my flight beauty essentials, what are yours? If you like this post, you’ll probably like my other posts, so follow my blog for more content.

Aspen has numerous ski resorts. The mountains are beautiful and very popular to ski on. Aspen hosts many events and is known for their winter sports. What to Wear to the Airport

Flights can be extremely tiring so you want to be comfortable, but you also don’t want to look like a hot mess at the airport. Today I’ll be sharing some tips to how you can look decent at the airport but still be comfortable.

  • Bring a sweater

Flights and airports can be really cold. I really don’t know why but it’s just always cold. Never just wear a sweater because if you arrive to your destination and it’s hot you’re going to sweat A LOT.

  • Wear loose clothing

You should always try to wear loose clothing so you don’t feel constricted on the plane.

  • Wear sneakers or slip-ons

During TSA or security you’ll usually have to take your shoes off. Try to wear shoes that are both comfortable and easy to take off and put on. Sometimes I see people in the airport wearing heels and I get so confused.

How to Travel on a Budget

Traveling can be extremely expensive especially if you’re traveling with a group of people. Today I’ll be sharing some tips to how you can travel on a budget.

  • Try to travel out of season

There are some seasons during the year that traveling can be hectic and expensive. You should always try to avoid school holidays. During school holidays the prices for plane tickets or hotel rooms go up. You should research the best time to go to your intended vacation spot and leave before or after the best time, so prices aren’t that high.

  • Book flights in advance

Airlines usually release their flight seats long before the departure date. The closer you get to the departure date, the more the prices increase.

  • Come up with a plan

The thought of traveling spontaneously is thrilling ,but it can definitely hurt your wallet. You don’t need to have everything planned out, but last minute accommodations or flights can be expensive.

Airport Hacks

Airports can be extremely confusing and hard to figure out. Today I’ll be sharing some useful airport hacks ,so you don’t get confused or stressed the next time you’re at an airport.

  • Arrive early

You should arrive at an airport at least an hour before you board. This ensures that you can get through security, take care of your luggage, and maybe even get some food without rushing.

  • Tag your luggage

Usually luggages come in the same three colors red, white, and black so it can get pretty confusing when you get your luggage from the baggage carousel . You should tag your luggage with something that you can easily identify. Tagging your luggage makes sure that you can spot your luggage easily.

  • Take a picture of your parking spot

If you’ve ever driven yourself to the airport, it’s a struggle to remember where you’ve parked after you’ve returned from your trip. Taking a picture of your parking spot makes sure that you can find you car easily.

  • Set an alarm for boarding

There is always a very long line for boarding ,so even if you’re only 2 minutes late to the boarding gate there will already be a long line. Setting an alarm for your boarding time ensures that you don’t have to wait an obnoxiously long line.

Packing Hacks

Do you know when you don’t overpack but your luggage looks like it’s about to explode?Today I’ll be showing you some packing hacks.

  • Roll your clothes

Instead of folding your clothing you should roll your clothes. Rolling your clothes takes up less space than folding them.

  • Put your necklaces into straws

Whenever I try to pack necklaces it always ends up tangled when I arrive at my destination. Placing your necklaces in straws ensures that your necklaces don’t get tangled.

  • Place things inside of shoes

Your shoes have so much empty space so why don’t you just put things inside of them ? My shoes always end up getting smushed so if you put some things inside of your shoes you can save space and prevent your shoes from getting smushed.

  • Place your clothes in plastic bags.

This is something I’ve been doing for so long because it’s so smart. When I pack skincare or hair products I’m always really scared that the bottles will break and spill all over my clothes . Placing your clothes into plastic bags ensure that none of your clothes get stains from your products breaking.
