3 Mistakes Everyone Makes When Packing a Carry-on

No matter the distance you’re flying, everyone should bring a carry-on when boarding on a plane. I CANNOT pack light, so the idea of fitting my belongings in a small little carry – on stresses me out! Today I’ll be sharing some of my biggest mistakes that I made while packing a carry-on.

  • Throwing your clothes in a big pile

I’ve made the mistake of throwing my clothes and shoes in a BIG pile instead of folding or rolling my clothes. Throwing everything in a big pile takes up a lot of space you can use to pack other things.

  • Not using a compression pad

Compression pads are actually everything. Compression pads make sure you can utilize all your space in your carry-on.

  • Layering your plane clothes so you have room in your carry-on

Don’t try to wear all the clothes you’re going to bring. Wear what’s comfortable and pack everything else. I always wear layers to the plane, but I try to not wear too many layers because you never know the cabin temperature
